This gorgeous back patch was made from the 17th century London woodcut found in Elias Ashmole's Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum, detailing the alchemical symbol of transmutation of base metal (Earth at bottom) into Gold (the Sun) and Silver (the Moon) through the agency of the dragon (Mercury - volatility).
This patch is hand printed with white screen printing ink on raw-edged black 100% cotton fabric, it has been heat sealed so you can wash it with no worries of the design washing off. It measures roughly 11 x 7 inches (sizes vary slightly) and looks great as a back patch, an altar item, or anywhere else.
Each patch goes through a rigorous selection process to make sure there are no flaws in the design so that your satisfaction is guaranteed. Also, each patch is hand cut so there will be some very minor variances in size.
